Description de la fonction

For a company in Leuven active in scientific research & development, we are looking for a shipping administrator.

Your tasks are:

Prepare packages to be shipped to customers and other business contacts on-time.

Ensure all paperwork accompanying packages is correct.

Package orders and process shipments via shipping software systems.

Use and maintain office equipment (printers, fax, etc.) as necessary.

Troubleshoot shipping problems. Fix or communicate to management as necessary.

Process paperwork and packages for delivery to other company sites.

Help maintain accurate inventory.

Stay current with company communications by frequently accessing email and other methods of communication as required.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Encourage and aid in cross-departmental training and knowledge-transfer.

This is a long term assignment with the posibility for a permanent contract and you will work in a late shift (from Monday to Friday from 1.30pm-10pm)

Profil

Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.

Capable of making administrative / procedural decisions and judgments.

Must be self-motivated, with the ability to see what needs to be done without being told to do it.

Ability and willingness to follow direction and perform duties. 

Must have excellent computer skills which includes knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Must possess the ability to adapt to changes in the process.

Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and capable of meeting strict deadlines.

Must be able to interact in a professional manner with customers, employees and all levels of management.

Must be able to work in a group or independently.

Must be able to read, write and speak English and Dutch fluently. Other languages are a bonus.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that the packages are shipped on-time and regulate all the necessary documents

2750€/month gross

Food vouchers 8€/day

Shift bonus 7,5%
