We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Leader / Project Manager to lead large-scale and highly complex IT infrastructure projects in a demanding enterprise environment.
This role requires a hands-on and operational project leader who can work extremely close to technical teams on a daily basis. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid technical infrastructure background and is comfortable operating in complex environments involving systems, networks, cloud, security, Virtualization and containers.
We are specifically looking for professionals with a technical past experience such as System Engineer, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Cloud Engineer who later evolved into project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure projects in complex enterprise environments
• Define project structure, delivery approach, planning, timelines and budget
• Ensure operational and hands-on project follow-up on a daily basis
• Work very closely with technical teams and infrastructure experts
• Coordinate all stakeholders involved in the project lifecycle
• Organize and lead project meetings, steering committees and reporting activities
• Monitor risks, dependencies, quality, deadlines and budget
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, management and business stakeholders
• Apply Prince2, Agile and ITIL methodologies in project delivery
• Use Jira and Confluence daily for project tracking and documentation

Profile required

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Project Management
  (strong Medior profiles may also be considered)
  
• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure environments
• Strong hands-on mindset and operational project management approach
• Ability to work extremely close to technical teams
• Excellent understanding of several infrastructure domains:
  • Network
  • Systems
  • Cloud
  • Security
  • Virtualization
  • Containers
  • Databases
• Previous technical background is highly appreciated:
  • System Engineer
  • Network Engineer
  • Infrastructure Engineer
  • Cloud Engineer
• Mandatory knowledge of:

• Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in large and complex environments
