To strengthen its operations team in Belgium, our client is currently looking for a Project & Process Engineer to join its site in Ternat.

Description de la fonction

As a Project & Process Engineer, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing operational projects within the Belgian site. You will contribute to process optimization, industrial performance, and the transition towards Industry 4.0.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy in collaboration with site management
  • Leading and managing operational projects from design to implementation
  • Developing, analyzing, and optimizing industrial processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collecting and analyzing data to support performance improvements and decision-making
  • Designing, testing, and implementing new or improved processes
  • Supporting automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives
  • Driving Lean and Kaizen projects, including training stakeholders on CI methodologies (VSM, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Implementing best practices from other international sites within the group
  • Ensuring stability and performance of key production equipment

Profil

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master)
  • First experience or strong exposure to process improvement, Lean tools, or project management
  • Knowledge of industrial processes and manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
