We are looking for an AI Engineer  ( Back End ) 
 
This role combines back-end development on our internal ERP (My Client) with the design and evolution of AI agent systems integrated into our operational workflows.
The ideal candidate is technically versatile, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where concrete delivery matters. This document provides full context on The Client, the IT department, the expected profile, and the engagement conditions.
M I S S I O N
? Develop and evolve AI agents integrated into operational workflows
? Maintain and extend My Client's back-end features and business logic
? Build internal REST APIs and data integrations
? Deliver stable, well-documented, production-ready code
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
? AI agent orchestration and evolution
? LLM integration via APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Azure AI Foundry, DeepSeek, LLaMA)
? Power Automate automation design and maintenance
? PostgreSQL query optimisation and database work
? Collaboration with IT team and business users
 

Technical Skills:

 
Strong Python proficiency
? PostgreSQL and SQL (queries, schema, optimisation)
? LLM APIs and multi-model integration
? AI agent design: tool calling, context/memory
management, flow orchestration
? Azure Functions and Azure Static Web Apps
? REST API design and integration
? Comfortable working on existing codebases
? Autonomous, structured, pragmatic mindset

Full Time - 39h/week  (Mon - Thu 8:00-17:30 - Friday : 8h00-15h30)
Charleroi Area ON SITE
Initial duration: up to 12 months
Possibility of permanent hire at end of mission
Direct integration into the IT team
