Our partner, an international software company, is ready to take the next step by internalising their L1-L3 support. To make this happen, they need an expert. Could you be their first Senior Support Engineer?

 

Senior Support Engineer - The Job

  • Own and operate the internal IT service desk (L1-L2), managing incidents and requests end-to-end while improving support processes through service data and reporting.
  • Support and administer workplace and collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Jira, Confluence, Zendesk and other SaaS tools).
  • Manage identity and access systems (Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID), including users, roles, permissions, and periodic access reviews.
  • Oversee endpoint and device management using Microsoft Intune, supporting Windows/Linux laptops, mobile devices, and full hardware lifecycle.
  • Provide operational IT support for network access, Wi-Fi, VPN, meeting rooms, patching, vulnerability management, backups, and incident response.

     

Profil

Senior Support Engineer - The Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in internal IT, system engineering, or workplace IT, with a degree in IT/computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in Windows environments, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.
  • Solid understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, firewalls) and hands-on experience with endpoint management (Intune or similar) and ITSM tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, WSL, and command-line tools; experience with Atlassian and Zendesk is a plus.
  • Service-oriented professional with strong ownership, communication skills, structured working style, and ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams.
