Description de la fonction

As a Senior Legal Counsel - Contract Law your responsibilities are:

• Draft, negotiate, and monitor a wide range of contracts, including construction, joint venture, maintenance, and shareholders agreements
• Offer practical legal advice on diverse topics including contract law, obligations law, and corporate law
• Follow up on national disputes and claims involving the company
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to assess legal, commercial, technical, and financial aspects of projects
• Analyze private tender documents, especially during the bidding phase, and provide legal advice throughout the execution phase

Profil

• Master's degree in Law
• Fluent in Dutch and English; good command of French is an asset
• Has at least 8 years of experience as a lawyer and/or in-house legal counsel
• Brings expertise or a strong interest in contract law, construction law, and industrial projects
• Demonstrates negotiation skills and experience with complex agreements
• Shows curiosity for the technical and commercial dimensions of projects
• Is pragmatic, proactive, communicative, and a true team player
• Works autonomously with confidence and assertiveness
