Mission

Are you ready to work on one of the most strategic AI initiatives in Belgium?
Join Inetum to contribute to the design and deployment of a sovereign AI solution for a key public-sector client. This program aims to build a trusted, secure, and high-performance AI model hosted within a controlled data center environment.
You will play a critical role at the intersection of AI strategy, business value, and technical architecture, ensuring that AI solutions deliver measurable impact while remaining cost-efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities

• AI strategy & business value:
  • Define and build AI business cases aligned with client priorities
  • Identify and translate use cases into measurable AI initiatives
  • Define and track KPIs to evaluate AI performance vs cost
    (e.g. model accuracy, efficiency, response time, ROI, cost per use case)
    
  • Establish frameworks to assess whether an AI model is performing effectively and sustainably
  • Support stakeholders in adopting AI in their projects
• AI architecture & technology:
  • Evaluate and recommend the most appropriate AI technologies and models (LLMs, ML, GenAI, etc.)
  • Contribute to the design of robust, stable, and scalable AI architectures
  • Ensure solutions can operate in a sovereign and on-premise environment (data center constraints)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure implementation feasibility and performance
• Governance & performance monitoring:
  • Define model evaluation strategies and performance monitoring frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and optimize the balance between performance and operational costs
  • Contribute to AI governance and best practices

Profile

• Experience:
  • Proven experience in AI / Data / Analytics projects
  • Strong experience in building AI business cases with KPIs
  • Hands-on experience in the implementation of AI models
  • Experience in regulated or sensitive environments is a strong plus
• Technical skills
  • Good understanding of:
    • Machine Learning / Generative AI / LLMs
    • AI model evaluation metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, cost efficiency, etc.)
    • Data platforms and AI architectures
  • Ability to assess different AI technologies and select the right approach
  • Understanding of on-premise / sovereign AI constraints is a plus
• Soft skills:
  • Strong analytical mindset (ability to link business value & technical performance)
  • Ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Autonomous, structured, and pragmatic approach
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
• Languages: Fluent in French and Dutch
