A challenging opportunity in the industrial sector is available for a Business Controller in Brussels, focused on transforming financial data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities as a Business Controller :

• Analyze business performance, profitability, and key financial indicators across activities
• Assess margins, cost structures, and overall financial efficiency of different business lines
• Develop and enhance management reporting for leadership teams
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure ongoing monitoring of financial targets
• Define, track, and interpret KPIs to support data-driven decision-making
• Identify performance gaps, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions and improvements
• Improve data quality, reporting structures, and financial analysis processes for greater efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both operational and strategic decisions

Profil

About the candidate :

• You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• You bring at least 4 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and a confident approach to working with financial data and systems
• You are experienced with ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced Excel usage
• You understand budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes in depth
• You are structured, detail-oriented, and highly reliable in your work approach
• You take initiative, work autonomously, and are comfortable challenging existing practices
• You are results-driven, proactive, and focused on improving business performance
• You communicate effectively and collaborate easily with different stakeholders
• You are fluent in both Dutch and French and are professionally proficient in English
