Job description
· As the Group HSE Governance & Policy Lead you will be working closely with local HSE teams and business leaders, you will develop policies, strengthen governance, promote best practices and help create a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
· You will develop, maintain and continuously improve the Group HSE Management System; define, implement and harmonise HSE policies, standards and procedures across all business entities.
· As the Group HSE Governance & Policy Lead you ensure alignment with local legislation while maintaining a common Group HSE framework, you'll coordinate the implementation of governance processes in different regions across Europe.
· You will lead corporate HSE initiatives and continuous improvement programmes, and drive the development of a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
· As the Group HSE Governance & Policy Lead you will monitor changes in European and local HSE legislation and translate these into Group policies, and support senior leadership by providing strategic HSE advice and reporting.
Profil
Your profile
· You obtained a Master Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent by experience.
· You have relevant expertise with HSE Governance & Policy within an industrial, infrastructure, engineering or renewable energy environment.
· Proven experience in developing HSE management systems, governance frameworks and corporate policies.
· Analytical, structured and able to translate strategy into practical policies.
· Strong knowledge of English, and Dutch and/or French.
