Procurement Process Owner

Energy Sector | Brussels, Belgium | Hybrid
Full-time | Minimum 2 days onsite per week

About the Role

Our client, a leading organization in the Energy Sector, is seeking an experienced Procurement Process Owner to drive procurement excellence through process optimization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
You will own end-to-end procurement processes, improve operational efficiency, support system implementations, and collaborate with Procurement, Business, Finance, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant procurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, design, and continuously improve procurement processes and supporting tools.
• Drive procurement transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
• Support the adoption of new procurement processes, systems, and ways of working.
• Develop procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance insights.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and optimization.
• Create process documentation and support training activities.
• Act as a subject matter expert for procurement processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, especially Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Experience in procurement process design, optimization, and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • SAP MM (S/4HANA)
  • SAP Public Cloud
  • SAP Fiori
• Experience with digital procurement solutions and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, hands-on, and process-oriented mindset.
• Experience driving change and working across multidisciplinary teams.

Language Requirements

• Professional English proficiency.
• Good command of French and/or Dutch.
