Our client is a globally recognized technology and engineering company that develops innovative solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and process industries. As a Senior Automation Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering advanced automation projects that drive efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability.

• Take ownership of all software-related activities within complex automation projects.
• Develop, implement, test, install, and maintain industrial software solutions in line with quality and validation standards.
• Prepare software validation documentation while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently in terms of cost, quality, and timing.
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding software-related matters.
• Contribute to innovative technologies that help optimize production processes and support a more sustainable future.

Profil

Our client is looking for an experienced automation professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in automation and industrial software development.
• Strong knowledge of TIA Portal, SCL, STL, LAD, and SQL.
• Experience with Schneider Drives is considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of .NET is a valuable plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Willing to work 3 days per week on-site in the Halle or Wommelgem area.
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
