Combine hands-on networking with team leadership : take ownership of critical infrastructure, drive Fortinet projects and lead a growing technical team.

Our partner is aninternational technology company is looking for aNetwork Engineer with a Team Lead mindsetto take ownership of the network environment while guiding and supporting a team of IT professionals.

This is not a purely managerial position: you will remainhands-on with the technology, with a strong focus onFortinet, while taking a leading role within the team.

• Take ownership of thenetwork infrastructure, designing, configuring and maintaining secure and highly available environments, with a strong focus onFortinettechnologies.
• Lead and support thenetwork/IT team, providing technical guidance, prioritizing activities and helping team members grow their expertise.
• Manage and optimizeFortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN, SD-WAN and security policies, while working with Palo Alto technologies where required.
• Drivenetwork securityinitiatives, including firewall management, segmentation, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, monitor performance and ensurereliability, availability and continuous improvementof the infrastructure.
• Coordinateprojects, vendors and internal stakeholders, while maintaining clear technical documentation and ensuring successful delivery.

Profil

• 5 + years of experiencein network engineering or network administration, ideally combined with an initialteam leadershipor mentoring experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise withFortinet, particularly FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN and SD-WAN.
• Solid knowledge ofnetwork security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, NAT and security policies; experience withPalo Altois a strong asset.
• Good understanding ofTCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, OSPF/BGPand enterprise network infrastructure.
• A naturaltechnical leader: someone who enjoys solving complex problems hands-on while also supporting, coordinating and developing others.
• Fluent inEnglish and French, with strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to different stakeholders.
