Our client is a major European technology and IT services group with Belgian roots, supporting private and public-sector organisations in their digital transformation and the management of complex IT environments.

The organisation provides services across cloud and infrastructure, cybersecurity and networking, managed services, application services, data & AI, and digital workplace solutions. Its teams support clients throughout the technology lifecycle, from architecture and large-scale transformation programmes to implementation, operations and long-term support of business-critical environments.

For this assignment, the consultant will work within a large Belgian public-sector environment, joining an experienced Network & Security team responsible for complex enterprise and datacenter infrastructure.

As an ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of strategic IT projects, with a strong focus on datacenter and infrastructure projects.

You will manage the planning, execution and follow-up of projects throughout their lifecycle and act as the main point of contact for project teams, management and external partners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading complex IT projects involving datacenter infrastructure, workplace environments, networks and system migrations.
• Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Program Manager or Service Manager.
• Coordinating the installation and equipment of physical datacenter environments.
• Managing network and system implementations, application migrations and handover to operational teams.
• Organising project meetings and facilitating alignment between all stakeholders.
• Leading and motivating project team members, with attention to team dynamics and coaching.
• Ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project.

Profil

We are looking for a Medior/Senior ICT Project Manager with solid experience in IT infrastructure projects within large and complex environments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with experience in infrastructure project management.
• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent through professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• Broad IT infrastructure experience, including datacenter migrations, workplace/endpoint management, virtualisation, network and system management.
• Demonstrated experience with physical datacenter installations, network and system implementations, application migrations, infrastructure roll-outs and handover to operational teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Professional knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
• Willingness to travel to client locations throughout Belgium.
