Our client is a leading international retail organization operating across multiple countries. This company is investing heavily in the modernization and optimization of its technology landscape, with SAP playing a central role in supporting business operations and future growth.

As part of its ongoing digital transformation journey, the organization is strengthening its SAP Retail team to enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives across procurement, supply chain, inventory management, pricing, and store operations.

As IT SAP Retail Consultant, you will join a team of experienced professionals working closely with stakeholders across business and IT functions to deliver impactful solutions that support the organization's long-term ambitions.

As Senior SAP Retail Business Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and evolving SAP Retail solutions across the end-to-end retail value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and enhancing SAP Retail business processes across procurement, inventory management, assortment management, pricing, replenishment, logistics, and store operations.
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and effective SAP solutions.
• Configuring SAP Retail functionalities and ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
• Driving process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across business units and countries.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line functional support, investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Contributing to SAP transformation and S/4HANA-related projects by participating in workshops, solution design activities, testing, and deployment initiatives.
• Collaborating with business users, project teams, implementation partners, and external service providers.
• Supporting system integrations with eCommerce platforms, warehouse management solutions, financial applications, POS systems, EDI interfaces, and other third-party solutions.
• Assisting data migration activities and promoting data quality and governance best practices.
• Acting as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders while mentoring junior team members and facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Ensuring the stability, performance, and long-term sustainability of SAP Retail solutions

Profil

To succeed in this role, you will combine strong SAP Retail expertise with excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

You ideally bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of SAP experience, including a minimum of 5 years focused on SAP Retail.
• Proven experience working within large-scale retail organizations and complex international environments.
• Strong expertise in:
  • SAP Retail
  • SAP MM
  • SAP SD
  • Assortment Management
  • Article Master Data
  • Purchasing Processes
  • Inventory Management
  • Invoice Verification
  • Retail Pricing
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration Suite would be considered a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of retail and supply chain business processes.
• Experience in solution design, requirements gathering, testing, and change management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
