LVO Industries is a permanent capital holding company. We acquire family-owned and owner-operated businesses and partner with them to ensure their long-term success. At LVO, you'll join a small, dynamic team operating in an entrepreneurial environment.

Role & Responsibilities :
As CTO, you are the digital control tower of the LVO group, responsible for the digital aspects of every portfolio company: Odoo, AI, software development and the Microsoft stack. You bring strong engineering and real AI expertise, set the standards, and make sure the right technology choices and practices are followed everywhere. The job is as much about coaching the teams as building IT solutions yourself in Odoo, AI and beyond. Your responsibilities will evolve over time, and will at least include:

• make sure all digital tools (Odoo, AI agents, the Microsoft stack, other third-party software) are well chosen and used to their full potential across teams.
• ensure the IT teams are highly efficient and well-functioning, coaching them on engineering and AI best practices, code quality and testing.
• drive the development of AI agents to accelerate automation, improve customer satisfaction and replace costly tools, building them yourself and enabling the POs and IT teams to build and run them.
• implement, follow up and continuously optimize Odoo across the portfolio companies.
• oversee the broader technical foundation: hosting, architecture, cybersecurity, testing and data.
• help select external providers and partners, and make sure they deliver.

Success means a digital strategy that performs across the group: strong automation, a better experience for staff and customers, solid cybersecurity, and technology that is future-proof and cost-effective.

Profil

Mindset :

• a builder who codes and configures as naturally as they advise
• a teacher at heart who leaves teams stronger than they found them
• obsessed with using AI and automation to remove friction
• comfortable carrying influence without a title to back it up
• self-starting, pragmatic, allergic to needless process
• at ease jumping between companies, stacks and roles
• dependable: says what they'll do, then does it

Requirements :

• a genuine developer and IT engineer background (degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent): you have built and shipped software yourself, stay hands-on with code, and are comfortable across the stack from application architecture to hosting, cybersecurity and automated testing
• between 5 and 10 years implementing IT and automation projects, including ERP set-ups, in small and medium-sized businesses.
• real depth in AI: hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-based solutions, and a clear view on applying AI best practices in a business context
• able to be based in Brussels (Watermael-Boitsfort) and to travel within Belgium.
• strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English
