Production Operator - Electronics

Good with your hands? Precise? Curious about electronics?

You do not need to be an electronics specialist to work in a high-tech electronics environment. Join a new production site in Zaventem where advanced electronic and electro-optical products are assembled, tested and prepared. Full training is provided.

What matters most is that you are careful, reliable and comfortable working with your hands - and that you enjoy learning different tasks rather than doing exactly the same thing every day. Because the production operation is growing quickly, versatility and flexibility are essential.

Perform functional tests using dedicated test equipment. Carry out visual, optical and mechanical quality checks. Perform manual assembly of components and subassemblies. Handle small and delicate components carefully and accurately. Prepare, inspect and package finished products. Follow production procedures, work instructions and checklists. Identify and report defects, quality issues or non-conformities. Complete production and quality documentation to ensure traceability. Maintain a clean and organised workstation and follow 5S and safety rules. Perform repetitive precision tasks while maintaining concentration and quality. Rotate between different production activities depending on priorities. Learn new assembly, testing and production processes through on-the-job training.

Profil

Technical secondary education or equivalent practical experience. Ideally some experience in production, electronics, assembly, testing, packaging or another industrial environment. Good manual dexterity and attention to detail. The ability to follow procedures accurately while maintaining a good working pace. A reliable and organised way of working. A practical, hands-on attitude and team spirit. Above all, the flexibility to learn and work across different production activities. English: Good working proficiency (minimum B1) - essential for daily communication and instructions. Dutch or French: Fluency in at least one of the two languages. Experience with electronics, optics or precision manufacturing is an advantage, but you do not need to be an electronics specialist. Motivated candidates with a technical background and limited production experience are also welcome to apply.
