IT M&A Program Manager
 
Job Overview
 
Lead strategic, cross-country programs including mergers and acquisitions integrations by structuring governance, managing planning and schedules, leading steering committees, and ensuring stakeholder visibility, with proactive risk anticipation and solution-oriented approach, based from a European headquarters with regular travel."
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end programme management for strategic, cross-country initiatives including carve-outs, integrations and post-merger harmonisation.
• Define and maintain programme governance frameworks including planning, scheduling, RACI matrices, reporting lines and decision-escalation paths.
• Set up and lead steering committees, ensuring senior stakeholders receive clear and timely information for decision making.
• Coordinate workstreams and teams across multiple countries, aligning local realities with overall programme objectives and timelines.
• Anticipate risks and roadblocks proactively, presenting solutions and options before issues escalate.
• Engage actively with country teams, business stakeholders and delivery teams to adapt the programme approach based on their input.
• Track and report on programme benefits, budgets, risks and progress, ensuring transparency to executive management.
• Champion change management practices to support adoption of new structures, processes and ways of working across countries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large, complex programmes across multiple countries and business units
• Hands-on experience managing M&A-related programmes including carve-outs, integrations and post-merger harmonisation
• Experience with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies alongside traditional programme governance
• Programme or project management certification such as MSP, PMP or PRINCE2
