In this role as a Fullstack Javascript developer, you will take the lead in further developing a global platform. Your day revolves around tackling complex challenges, managing the full lifecycle from initial analysis to final cloud deployment.

• You design and build scalable architectures that form the foundation for innovative video solutions.
• Together with colleagues from the United States and Brazil, you ensure seamless integration of new features within the ecosystem.
• Implementing powerful video transcoding pipelines is a core part of your responsibility.
• You bridge the gap between physical hardware and cloud infrastructure by innovating with technologies like Kafka and Kubernetes.
• By taking ownership of your projects, you guarantee flawless releases on the AWS platform.

As an experienced Fullstack Javascript developer, you understand the nuances of the Node/JS ecosystem like no other. For you, code is only truly successful when it is not just functional, but also robust and scalable.

• You possess a deep-seated interest in streaming technologies and video processing.
• To ensure smooth local collaboration and integration, we are looking for candidates who are native Dutch or French speakers, or English speakers who are already locally based in Leuven.
• Colleagues describe you as a proactive team player who thrives in an international Agile environment.
• Experience with modern tools such as TypeScript, React, and Docker allows you to add immediate value to the team.
• A strong focus on quality ensures that testing with Jest or Mocha is second nature to you.
