Lead the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions from GAP audits. Advise the Plant Leadership Team on regulatory and internal policy updates Oversee daily HSE operations, ensuring team performance and compliance with emergency protocols and safety standards. Drive continuous improvement through action plans, compliance tracking, and proactive safety initiatives. Champion a proactive safety culture by embedding the Safety Differently philosophy and facilitating Learning Teams and safety discussions across all levels. Monitor and enhance training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competency development. Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons learned are shared across the network. Continuously evaluate and improve site-level HSE practices, promoting innovation and best practice sharing. Major Accountabilities Ensure a safe working environment by controlling health and safety risks and preventing occupational illness and injury. Maintain compliance with legal and internal HSE requirements Embed the Safety Differently philosophy through Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) and Learning Teams. Promote and lead Zero Harm initiatives, ensuring full engagement from employees and leadership Develop and monitor employee safety competencies using skills matrices and proactive training plans. Lead root cause investigations and share insights across the European/Global network to prevent recurrence. Drive continuous improvement and wellbeing initiatives, including Safety Week and occupational health assessments
Profil
Ideally, you'll be at least IOSH qualified Good knowledge of relevant national Health, Safety & Wellbeing laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills, to effectively engage and influence within the business at all levels Motivated individual and self-starter who can drive projects and take ownership for implementation of solutions. Good knowledge of HSE management systems Analytical skills to understand and interpret data Ability to work well under pressure whilst demonstrating strong organisational skillsCompétences linguistiques
