Talencia is looking for an experienced Data engineer for one of his clients.
 
Location: Brussels     
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + (till end of 2027)  
Language: English + FR or NL
Homeworking: Partially remote
 
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the bank's data architecture, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses. You will work closely with the Senior Data Analyst to ensure the availability of reliable, secure, and highly optimized data.
 
Mission:
 
·Data Pipelines: Develop, test, and productionize robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate multi-source banking data streams.
 
·Architecture & Storage: Assist in setting up and optimizing relational and dimensional database structures.
 
·Performance Tuning: Ensure data quality, traceability, and high performance of SQL queries and production databases.
 
·Security & Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with banking data security standards and regulations.
 
Profile:
 
·Technical Skills: Flawless mastery of SQL
·Solid knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling.
·Proficiency with modern data engineering tools (Python, ETL tools, Cloud or On-premises banking infrastructure).
·Soft Skills: Team player with strong technical rigor and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the Data Analyst and infrastructure teams.
·Languages: Fluent in English, combined with either French or Dutch.
