An exciting opportunity is available for a Financial Controller to join a fast-paced and growing biotechnology organization based in Brussels. This position offers the chance to play a key role in supporting strategic decisions, enhancing financial performance, and partnering with operational and leadership teams in an international environment. The role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys combining analytical expertise, business insight, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller : Partner with business and management teams to analyze performance and key financial drivers. Deliver relevant financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews. Manage month-end closings, including margin analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and accounting records. Support compliance activities, external audits, and credit risk monitoring. Contribute to the optimization of finance processes, reporting tools, and automation initiatives. Participate in cross-functional projects related to reporting, consolidation, and system improvements.

Profil

About you : You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. You have 5 to 6 years of experience in audit, financial controlling, or corporate finance. You bring strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and controlling practices. You are an advanced Excel user and have experience with ERP and reporting tools. You have an interest in technology, automation, and process improvement. You communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You are autonomous, analytical, proactive, and results-oriented. You thrive in an international and fast-paced environment. You are fluent in French and/or English; additional languages are a plus.
