Our client is an established player in the infrastructure and water sector and is part of an international industrial group.
They develop and deliver sustainable solutions for the transport of drinking water and wastewater, working with:
- water utilities
- contractors
- infrastructure companies
With a team of around 30 colleagues in Belgium, they combine:

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships in your region. You act as the main point of contact for clients and ensure projects run smoothly, supported by internal technical experts. 1. Relationship management & commercial follow-up Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients Active prospecting within the construction and infrastructure sector Following up on opportunities and public tenders Preparing and monitoring quotations in collaboration with internal teams Negotiating and closing contracts 2. Technical coordination (supported by experts) Understanding customer needs and translating them into appropriate solutions Acting as a link between the client and internal technical specialists Providing high-level advice (no in-depth engineering required) Occasionally visiting project sites to monitor progress 3. File management & administration Ensuring accurate follow-up of quotations, orders, and deliveries Coordinating with internal departments (logistics, sales support, engineering) Monitoring deadlines and customer commitments Ensuring smooth administrative processing
Profil
Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in a technical field) Initial experience in sales, account management, or construction/infrastructure is a plus Affinity with technology and interest in infrastructure projects Strong relationship-building and communication skills Commercial mindset and solution-oriented Well-organized and structured Able to work independently as well as in a team Native Dutch speaker, with basic knowledge of FrenchCompétences linguistiques
