As part of its continued growth, we are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner based at Liège Airport.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you are the HR pillar of the Liège site. You report directly to the Station Manager and are an integral part of the local management team. Your mission: ensure strong, autonomous and field-oriented HR governance by combining people leadership, employee relations and operational support. HR Team Management & Coordination Manage and coordinate a team consisting of: 1 Payroll Officer, 1 HR Administrator, 1 Planner and 1 Key Trainer Collaborate with the in-house temporary staffing agency Ensure the autonomy and performance of each area (payroll, administration, planning and training) HR Coaching & Governance Challenge and coach the management team Define and deploy a local HR policy aligned with the Group's vision Establish HR governance frameworks and train managers on their application Act as the main point of contact for all HR-related matters for both managers and employees Employee Relations Independently and proactively manage all employee relations matters: union consultation, negotiations, formal and informal contacts Represent management during formal meetings (CPBW and Works Council) Develop and structure company agreements and collective frameworks Build and maintain a credible balance with trade union organizations Operations & Field Support Maintain a visible and active presence on the floor Mediate employee conflicts when required Oversee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes Ensure workforce planning and monitor labour costs Guarantee strict compliance with Belgian social legislation and maintain continuous regulatory monitoring THE TEAM & CONTEXT You will join a site of approximately 250 employees, supported by a structured and operational HR team. You report directly to the Station Manager, who will be your main point of contact together with the local management team. The Liège site is currently transitioning towards greater autonomy, positioning the Senior HR Business Partner role as a high-value position with immediate and tangible impact. During this transition period, you will benefit from the support of the Group HR team while building your autonomy.

Profil

Must-have Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a logistics, operational or industrial environment Strong expertise in employee relations: consultation and negotiation with trade unions, management of CPBW and Works Council meetings Proven experience coaching managers and implementing HR governance frameworks In-depth knowledge of Belgian labour and social legislation Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of high-impact responsibilities Key Competencies People leadership: built on trust, respect and fairness Operational rigour: attention to detail combined with a strategic and global perspective Coaching mindset: ability to challenge and develop managers Field credibility: comfortable interacting with employees, managers and trade unions alike Autonomy & proactivity: capable of structuring, initiating and leading independently Languages Fluent French (spoken and written) - essential Functional/conversational English - required for interactions with international management Assets Knowledge of Joint Committees 226 (employees) and 140.03 (logistics workers) Experience in a transformation or organizational change environment Proficiency with HR & payroll tools (SD Worx, MyMensura, etc.)
