About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a large enterprise environment in Belgium.
In this role, you'll work closely with Solution Designers and business stakeholders to design, build and deliver high-quality software solutions within the Transport Execution Management domain. You'll translate business requirements into reliable, scalable and well-tested applications while taking ownership of the complete development lifecycle.
Beyond strong technical expertise, we're looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, enjoys working collaboratively and is comfortable taking full responsibility for delivering complete software solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality enterprise applications using .NET / C#
• Develop secure and performant .NET Core Web APIs
• Build cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following Clean Code, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles
• Collaborate closely with Solution Designers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to unit testing and ensure high software quality
• Participate in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes and Git as part of the software delivery lifecycle
• Contribute to API integrations and relational database design
• Communicate technical decisions clearly within a collaborative Agile team

 
Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure Cloud Development
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing .NET Core Web APIs
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
• Demonstrable experience applying Clean Code, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles
• Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including language features, LINQ, async/await, security practices, data structures and design patterns
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes and Git
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
• Fluent in Dutch or French (minimum C2 level) and English (minimum C1 level)
• Available to work onsite in Brussels at least 2 days per week

• Experience working in large enterprise environments
• Experience with Azure PaaS services and event-driven architectures
• Experience integrating backend APIs and distributed systems
• Strong focus on software quality, performance and maintainability
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
