Since opening its doors in 1999, the European School of Brussels III is committed to provide a high-level, multilingual and multicultural education.
Every day, pupils of different nationalities, allocated in seven language sections (German, English, French, Czech, Greek, Spanish, Dutch) stand alongside, discovering and sharing knowledges in an environment of respect, solidarity, tolerance and dialogue.
As in each European School, the words of Marcel Decombis (Director of the European School of Luxembourg between 1953 and 1960) which express the very essence of our mission, have been sealed in parchment into the foundation stones of the school: "(.) Educated side by side, untroubled from infancy by divisive prejudices, acquainted with all that is great and good in the different cultures, it will be borne in upon them as they mature that they belong together. Without ceasing to look to their own lands with love and pride, they will become in mind Europeans, schooled and ready to complete and consolidate the work of their fathers before them, to bring into being a united and thriving Europe."
This is a part-time position (approximately 10 teaching periods per week) offered on a fixed-term contract for the 2026/2027 school year. Subject to the needs of the school, there may be the possibility of increasing the teaching load.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural educational environment and contribute to the academic development and well-being of students in accordance with the values and educational objectives of the European Schools.
The teacher will be employed as a Locally Recruited Teacher (LRT) under the terms and conditions set out in the Service
Regulations for Locally Recruited Teachers in the European Schools.
