Our restaurant is seeking a passionate, skilled chef to create delicious meals for our patrons. You will be responsible for planning our menu, ensuring that each dish is nutritious and cost-effective, and collaborating with a team of kitchen staff to deliver food that meets the highest quality standards.

Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
  • Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
  • Overseeing all kitchen operations.
  • Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
  • Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
  • Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
  • Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends.
  • Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.

Chef Requirements:

  • Past experience as a working chef in Indian Restaurant/Cusine.
  • Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.
  • Portfolio of creative, unique dishes.
  • Expert multitasking ability.
  • Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.
  • Passion and pride for delighting people with food.

Profielbeschrijving

We are looking for 3 Chef's Specialised in Indian Cuisine. 

Chef 1 is primarily responsible on preparing Hyderabadi Regional Dishes:

- Several varieties of authentic Hyderabadi cuisine including Biryani's
- Andhra, Telangana cuisines
- North Indian gravy/curries
- Preperation of Fresh Masala spice mixes

Chef 2 is primarily responsible for Indian Tandoor (Clay Oven) Dishes and Indo Chinese cusine:

- Indian Bread (more than 20 varieties prepared with wheat and rice flour)
- Indo-Chinese cuisine
- Tandoori Kebabs, Tikka varieties

Chef 3 is primarily responsible for South Indian Thali and Breakfast:

- South Indian Thali/Meals (curries included) and Breakfast Varieties
- Indian Chaat/Savouries
- Indian Crepes (Dosa)

Speaking of either one of the following languages will be a great advantage for daily operations : Telugu or Tamil or Hindi
