An exciting opportunity for a Grant Financial Management & Compliance Officer to make a tangible impact in a non-profit based in Brussels. Open to part-time candidates, this role offers responsibility for financial oversight, donor compliance, and process improvement in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities as a Grant Financial Management & Compliance Officer : Manage financial aspects of grants, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and monitoring of budgets and expenditures Prepare financial reports aligned with donor requirements and develop dashboards or tools to improve visibility Ensure compliance with donor rules, lead audit preparations, and implement systems to meet upcoming obligations Collaborate with teams to improve financial processes, internal controls, and documentation standards Serve as the main contact for donor financial queries, liaise with auditors and teams, and provide guidance or training on financial compliance

Jouw profiel

About you : You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field You bring 3-5 years' experience in financial management, ideally including donor-funded projects or NGOs You have knowledge of EU and institutional donor financial regulations (EC, Norad, CAF, etc.) You are experienced in preparing for donor audits and implementing compliance systems You are proficient in Excel and financial management systems You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
