Our client is a leading consulting group with operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. They are heavily investing in digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence. As part of their growth journey, they are seeking an experienced freelance IT leader to bring structure, foster collaboration, and drive technology value.

Freelance IT Lead (Digital Ecosystem & Operations)

• Harmonise systems and processes across the Benelux region.
• Lead the transition to an integrated CRM/ERP landscape (Salesforce, Business Central, PO/FS).
• Standardise application architecture and define a group-wide roadmap.
• Develop and implement a central data strategy (Azure, Data Lake, Power BI).
• Build a robust data model, governance framework, and quality standards.
• Optimise ITIL processes (Incident, Change, CMDB, Service Catalogue) and elevate operational maturity.
• Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives and support ISO 27001 certification.
• Manage cybersecurity vendors (SOC, SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection).
• Foster collaboration within the Digital Guild: a cross-country community of IT and digital professionals.
• Ensure alignment between local digital initiatives and group-wide technology principles.
• Own budgets, portfolio governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Jouw profiel

Freelance IT Lead

• Proven experience leading digital transformation in an international context.
• Strong knowledge of IT architecture, data governance, ERP/CRM systems, and ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and ISO 27001 is a plus.
• A pragmatic bridge-builder between business and technology.
• Able to inspire people, structure processes, and deliver results.
• Flexible to engage across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
