Senior Project Manager - Energy Sector
 
Mission description
For a major Belgian player active in the energy sector, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative contributing to the evolution of the Belgian and European energy landscape.
You will work in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and contribute to projects that support the energy transition.
 
Role and responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate large-scale strategic projects in the energy sector
- Operate in a complex stakeholder environment, including regulators, DSOs, and internal teams
- Steer the creation of a new company, covering legal, regulatory, and financial workstreams
- Act as single point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Safeguard internal priorities within vendor implementation roadmaps
- Drive delivery of common TSO and DSO tooling initiatives
- Facilitate executive-level alignment on strategic decisions
- Act as Product Owner for internal implementation teams
- Manage dependencies and contribute to business architecture discussions
 
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and or French, and English
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the energy sector
- Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution systems, regulation, and market dynamics
- Ability to operate in regulatory, legal, and financial complexity
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills
 
Practical information
- Location: Brussels area (Empereur)
- Hybrid setup, 2 days on-site per week
- For non-EU candidates, a valid Belgian work and residence permit is required
