As a Transport Planner your responsibilities are:

• Lead and motivate drivers, ensuring adherence to operational standards
• Process transport orders and coordinate loading/unloading logistics
• Create and adjust daily transport schedules for optimal fleet usage
• Monitor vehicle availability and collaborate with planning leads
• Analyse tracking data and report operational insights
• Align customer needs with available transport resources
• Handle administrative tasks and support cross-functional teams
• Resolve daily operational issues and maintain driver communication
• Report to planning leadership on progress, issues, and feedback

Jouw profiel

A successful Transport Planner should have:

• A relevant educational background in logistics or supply chain management.
• Fluent in Dutch with strong proficiency in English and French
• At least 3 years of experience in transport planning or a similar role within the logistics sector.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in transport management systems and related software.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
