For a food company in Bredene, we are looking for an operator.

You will work in a two-shift system:

• Early shift: from 05:00 to 13:00.
• Late shift: from 13:00 to 21:00.

Your responsibilities are:

• You take full responsibility for your production line, from start-up to quality control, and ensure that the highest standards in terms of food safety and efficiency (yield) are achieved. Your active input guarantees a smooth operation and a top-quality final product.
• You are responsible for the safety of the production process and the quality of the finished product.
• You set up, start up, operate, and convert the production line, and organize the workflows and shift handovers.
• You perform incoming quality checks on deliveries, register production data, and carry out the required quality controls.
• You independently resolve operational breakdowns/malfunctions, monitor daily yields and losses, and assist packaging colleagues if necessary.

Jouw profiel

• Experience as an operator in a production environment is desired.
• Experience with chocolate or in the food industry is a major asset (or: a strong plus).
• You are able to set priorities, organize accurately, and lead the workers on your line.
• You are a good communicator who can speak clearly and understandably with everyone.
• You are capable of resolving operational breakdowns/malfunctions yourself and quickly notifying the technical department for more complex issues.
• You are stress-resistant and willing to work in a two-shift system.
• You work meticulously according to the strict rules for safety, hygiene (high-care environment), and order (GMP, 5S).

You are an operator with a strong sense of responsibility.
