Freelance Senior Accountant - Join a long-term assignment M/V/X

Our client is an innovative mid-sized organization operating in the services sector and experiencing strong growth. The company offers an international, collaborative environment with a small and agile finance team

As Freelance Senior Accountant, you will :

• Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes ;
• Prepare closing entries, accruals, provisions, and related reconciliations ;
• Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations;
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts by overseeing journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations ;
• Support the external accounting firm in the preparation of tax and regulatory filings like VAT ;
• Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and investment needs ;
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy ;

Jouw profiel

A successful Freelance Senior Accountant should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles;
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles ;
• Proficiency in Odoo ;
• Fluent in Dutch or French, and English ;
