Our client is one of the leading retail company in Belgium. Active in consumer goods renowned for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in a B2B and B2C environment, across Benelux and France ;
• Manage corporate housekeeping matters in Benelux, consulting with external legal advisors ;
• Contribute to dispute resolution and assist with risk mitigation strategies ;
• Embrace legal innovation efforts, including AI-driven legal tools and digital legal platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like HR, Finance, IT, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Corporate Communications, . and work together with external counsels if necessary ;
• Be a strategic partner to the business, offering initiative-taking and practical legal guidance ;

Jouw profiel

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in corporate law & commercial contracts;
• Languages: Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in French and Dutch ;
• Skills: Deep understanding of corporate governance and contract law, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable and pragmatic business advice ;
• Mindset: curious, innovative and solution-oriented. You're not just a lawyer, you are also a partner to the business and you are able to align legal advice with operational goals. You are stress resilient and not afraid of taking the extra mile ;
• Background: Experience in both in-house roles and (international) law firms is a plus ;
