Please note that this position is based in Brussels and offered as a permanent contract (CDI). It is not a freelance opportunity. The role requires on-site presence 2 to 3 days per week.

Job Title: Business Analyst - IT (Voice & Cloud Communication)

Role Overview 
 

As a Business Analyst IT, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and supporting Agile development teams to deliver high-impact functionalities for BICS Voice and Cloud Communication services as part of Proximus Global. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Building and maintaining a strong and trustful relationship with our stakeholders via solid communication and close collaboration. 
   
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and problem definitions, translating them into system requirements. 
   
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog with the support of the Product Owner in a continuous collaborative mode. 
   
• Conduct meetings and closely collaborate with business community, end-users, platform owners, engineers, architects, developers, QA teams, process manager and external partners to shape and deliver effective business solutions. 
   
• Determine the detailed specifications required to develop and improve the business applications.  
   
• Achieve consensus by reconciling business needs, technical/security/legal constraints and architecture principles. 
   
• Ensure accurate and evolving effort estimations from project inception through detailed design and backlog management, enabling realistic planning and resource allocation.

Your Profile 

• Solid IT background with minimum 3-5 years as business/functional analyst.  
• Strong analytical abilities with problem-solving and results-oriented mindset. 
• Proven practice of Scrum development methodologies, ceremonies and related tools. 
• Familiar with requirements gathering and development cost estimation techniques. 
• Ability to lead meetings, achieve compromises and articulate complex solutions to both business and technical audiences. 
• Aptitude to challenge status-quo and be innovative in solution definition. 
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.  
• Self-driven and autonomous, consistently applying an agile and value-driven approach to software development. 
• Learning and adapting quickly to new domain knowledge and technologies.
