Cloud Network Engineer M/V/X

As a Cloud Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, operating, and optimizing network and security components within a modern private cloud ecosystem. You'll work closely with platform engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure that cloud-native network services are robust, secure, and scalable.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and managing Kubernetes cluster networking and cloud-native networking services.
• Managing network security operations across workloads, clusters, and services.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.
• Implementing observability solutions to monitor network and infrastructure performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable delivery of private cloud services.

• Supporting operational processes such as incident, change, and problem management.

   

Jouw profiel

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations within critical enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in private or hybrid cloud environments, especially virtual networking, compute, and storage.
• Hands-on experience managing Container Network Interface (CNI) technologies (e.g., CoreDNS, Traefik, Infoblox).
• Experience with automation & IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, YAML, Python).
• Experience with monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes.
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch/French/German is a plus.

• A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
