Beschrijving van de functie

Attached to the IT development team (the "Change"), the Business Analyst assists the Business in defining its needs and formalizing requirements within the framework of IT projects or evolutionary maintenance. 

You perform impact analyzes to assess the potential implications on existing business processes, roles and activities. 

Finally, the Business Analyst supports the Business in the testing phase (user acceptance test). 

For the definition of needs

• During the initial phase of the project, you understand and help the project manager to list all the Business needs for their consideration in the Business Case while also noting the possible impacts in other business lines. 
• You identify the Business (Key Users and others) and IT stakeholders to be involved in the functional study and the collection of requirements. 
• You formalize the Business processes that have to evolve within the framework of the project or the maintenance activity. You advise and guide the Business if necessary. 
• In collaboration with the Functional Analyst, you define and document the requirements - Business, Functional and Non-Functional using elicitation techniques such as brainstorming, workshops, focus groups, etc. You formalize them so as to facilitate the translation into features and user stories. 
• You ensure that the requirements are properly understood, taken into account and implemented by the functional analysts and developers while ensuring their involvement. 
• You get the necessary validations in order to draw up a baseline of the requirements 
• You contribute to the definition of the project backlog (features) and to the breakdown of each of the project's features into user stories 
• For each iteration during the execution phase of the project, you contribute to deepen the functional analysis if necessary. You follow, fully document and communicate changes to requirements and refine user stories (Definition of Ready and Definition of Done) 

For acceptance tests

• You contribute to the definition of the testing strategy by providing the input for the acceptance tests in the Initiate / Plan phase of the project. 
• For each iteration (feature (s)) during the execution phase of the project, you define the plans and scenarios of the acceptance tests in alignment with the Business Key Users and the Test Manager.
• You assist Business Key Users in the acceptance testing phases and ensure the associated monitoring and reporting. 
• You participate in the putting into production (validation before the actual deployment).

In driving change

• You develop communication and user training material, with the active contribution of Key Users and functional analysts.
• You provide communication and "train the trainers" training to key users for each release.
• You ensure the handover to the Run teams by preparing the documentation and training the User Support teams before each release.

As part of the Business process modeling

• At the request and under the supervision of Business, in line with the defined organizational priorities, you may be required to provide support to Business in the organization of Business Process review / reingenering / improvement. The analyzes carried out in this context remain subject to formal validation by the Business.

Jouw profiel

• University in an economic or scientific option preferably, the candidate must have experience in the subject dealt with: accounting, finance. 
• You are a good oral and written communicator and you are precise and structured in your speeches. You take care to adopt a speech adapted to the different types of interlocutors with whom you will be in contact: Users, IT specialists, project manager.
• You have a very good knowledge of communicating in French and you have a good command of Dutch and English.
• You are endowed with great autonomy and diplomacy, essential qualities to communicate effectively with all the parties involved in a project. 
• 3 years of experience in a similar function is appreciated.
