Your responsabilities

For our office in Ghent (BE) or Nieuwegein (NL), we are looking for a full-time travel designer, specifically for selling our trips to Lapland, Iceland and/or Sweden.

Your main task will be selling trips to Lapland, Iceland and/or Sweden:

  • You will be the first point of contact for clients and will provide them with personalized advice via email, by phone, and in person at the office. You will always do this with the necessary professionalism and a passionate, friendly, and sincere attitude.
  • To keep our clients as well-informed as possible, you will also occasionally give information sessions.
  • You will be jointly responsible for achieving revenue, managing individual client files and closely monitoring them from first contact to departure:
    • You will translate the client's needs into a personalized proposal.
    • You will calculate quotes, whether customized or not.
    • You will arrange all reservations for flights and local services.
    • You will prepare travel documents and ensure that all travel arrangements run smoothly and correctly.
  • You know your business inside and out, allowing you to consistently offer customers the best possible solution in a spontaneous and enthusiastic manner.
  • You take responsibility and ownership for your results, follow up on leads effectively, and thus ensure high conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • You invest in yourself by taking charge of your own development and continuously expanding your product and sales knowledge. You are not afraid to share experiences, best practices, and successes with colleagues.
  • You can participate in additional tasks or projects, depending on your interests, talents, and current opportunities within the team.

Who are you?

  • You have a passion for Iceland, Lapland and/or Sweden. Travel experience is a plus, but not required.
  • For you, travel means authenticity and experiencing nature.
  • Customers energize you! You prioritize customer service, authenticity, and quality.
  • You have a commercial mindset: you possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and are enthusiastic about challenging growth targets.
  • Collegiality and teamwork are essential for you. You are involved in the day-to-day running of the company and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
  • You are stress-resistant and flexible. You are willing to work occasionally in the evenings, on weekends, or on-site.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and translate ideas into action.
  • You work systematically and accurately. You are not intimidated by administration and can maintain a good overview and manage time/priorities during busy periods.
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You speak and write excellent German (preferably native). Since we are an international company, you also understand English well.

  • 20 days (BE) or 25 days (NL) of leave per year with the possibility of additional leave based on overtime worked.
