Our client is a major Belgian insurance provider offering life and non-life products and serving millions of customers nationwide. It operates as part of an international insurance group and is recognized as one of Belgium's largest and most trusted insurers.


Jobomschrijving

  • Contribute to the assessment of governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
  • Participate in shaping the annual audit plan and enhancing audit methodologies.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit missions across varied domains while providing technical support and close coaching to team members.
  • Conduct autonomous audit assignments in relevant areas of expertise.
  • Ensure high-quality audit reporting and timely delivery of consolidated audit results to governance bodies.
  • Present findings to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations proactively.
  • Support the development and deployment of team training plans.

Jouw profiel

  • Over six years of relevant audit experience, ideally with knowledge of insurance operations or areas such as IT, investments, actuarial techniques, accounting standards, or financial regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and comfort working in changing environments.
  • Experience in team leadership is a strong asset.
  • Critical thinking, solution focus, pragmatism, and creativity.
  • Solid command of French, Dutch, and English.
  • A university degree, ideally complemented by an audit-related certification (CIA, CISA.).
