Beschrijving van de functie

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Assistant to support our Credit & Collection team during a maternity leave period. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, supporting lawyers, and maintaining smooth processes across the billing function.

You will primarily focus on processing invoices, while also supporting reporting, credit collection, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Billing & Invoicing:

  • You will prepare narratives for invoices issued by lawyers to clients.
  • You will send invoices to lawyers for review or adjustments, then forward them to partners.
  • You will finalize invoice processing and ensure accurate filing.
  • You will manage the IPT mailbox, centralizing invoices from DLA offices.
  • You will forward completed invoices to the accounting department.

Support & Administration:

  • You will assist lawyers with office-related questions.
  • You will prepare billing reports.
  • You will support the credit collection process.
  • You will provide ad-hoc assistance to the Credit & Collection team.
  • You will ensure compliance with internal guidelines and standards.

  • You have experience in billing or invoicing.
  • You have a good command of English; French or Dutch are considered a plus.
  • You have proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • You have a background in administration and invoicing; sales or events experience is a plus.
  • You have accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.
