About the opportunity

Our client is an international financial services group with a strong presence in Brussels. The organisation is undergoing a period of transformation, with a clear focus on modernising its finance function, strengthening governance and leveraging technology to work smarter.

You will join a specialised accounting and reporting team that plays a central role in financial reliability, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement at group level.

Your key responsibilities

Closing, Reporting & Technical Accounting

• Contribute to monthly and quarterly closings across several entities
• Perform in-depth analytical reviews and key closing controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support and oversee the preparation of annual financial statements, including quantitative and qualitative disclosures and regulatory reports.

Controls, Processes & Transformation

• Strengthen and simplify accounting processes and internal control frameworks.
• Play an active role in major finance transformation projects, including the new ERP migration
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and transparency within reporting cycles.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Contribute to the development and practical use of AI-driven solutions within the finance function.
• Act as a knowledgeable partner who can translate complex financial topics into clear insights for different audiences.

Jouw profiel

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in finance
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain financial trends clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured, detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (minimum B2); French is an asset.
