Le Mouvement international des jeunes travailleurs chrétiens (IYCW) est un mouvement international qui ouvre en faveur du travail décent, de la solidarité et de l'autonomisation des jeunes dans le monde entier. Votre rôle

En tant que traducteur à temps partiel, vous jouez un rôle clé dans notre communication internationale. Vous veillez à ce que les messages soient transmis de manière claire, inclusive et correcte entre les différentes langues et cultures. Vous travaillez en étroite collaboration avec vos collègues, les bénévoles et les partenaires internationaux et faites partie de la famille IYCW.

Vos tâches principales

• Traduire des textes politiques, juridiques, administratifs et web (principalement français ? anglais)
• Traduire des documents espagnols vers le français et l'anglais
• Assistance à l'interprétation lors de réunions ou d'événements (si nécessaire)
• Contribuer à une communication claire et inclusive au sein du mouvement
• Traiter les informations confidentielles avec soin

Your role

As a part-time translator, you will play a key role in our international communications. You will ensure that messages are conveyed clearly, inclusively and accurately between different languages and cultures. You will work closely with colleagues, volunteers and international partners and be part of the IYCW family.

Your core tasks

• Translating political, legal, administrative and web texts (mainly French ? English)
• Translating Spanish documents into French and English
• Assisting with interpreting during meetings or events (if necessary)
• Contributing to clear and inclusive communication within the movement
• Handling confidential information with care

Jouw profiel

Talenkennis:

• Vloeiend in Frans en Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk) - vereist
• Goede kennis van Spaans - sterke troef

Vaardigheden en ervaring:

• Sterke vertaal - en (basis)tolkvaardigheden
• Nauwkeurig, taalgevoelig en oog voor detail
• Communicatief sterk en goed luistervaardig
• Ervaring of affiniteit met werken in een internationale, multiculturele context

Persoonlijkheid:

Qui êtes-vous ?

Connaissances linguistiques :

• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (à l'oral et à l'écrit) - obligatoire
• Bonne connaissance de l'espagnol - atout majeur

Compétences et expérience :

• Solides compétences en traduction et en interprétation (de base)
• Précision, sensibilité linguistique et souci du détail
• Bonnes aptitudes à la communication et bonne capacité d'écoute
• Expérience ou affinité avec le travail dans un contexte international et multiculturel

Language skills:

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) - required
• Good knowledge of Spanish - strong asset
