Beschrijving van de functie

We are currently looking for a Medior System Engineer (Windows / Citrix) to join a team within a large international infrastructure environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Windows and Citrix server environments.
This is an operational role — not an architect position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for complex infrastructure incidents
  
• Investigate and resolve Windows & Citrix environment issues
  
• Ensure stability, availability, and performance of server platforms
  
• Document processes and technical procedures
  
• Work closely with helpdesk and infrastructure teams
  

Technical scope

• 80% Windows Server (2016-2025)
  
• 20% Citrix (Virtual Apps & Desktops, Delivery Controllers, Storefront, Workspace, Director, Studio, NetScaler)
  
• Good understanding of networking & security principles
  
• Nice to Have: Active Directory, VMware, SCCM/SCOM, Exchange, PowerShell, monitoring tools, Storage knowledge.
  

Practical information

• Location: Brussels area (2-3 days onsite)
  
• Start: March 2026
  
• Long-term contract (yearly renewable)
