Our client is a global organisation operating in advanced technical solutions within a specialised industrial segment, including HVAC-related systems. The Belgian entity supports both local and international stakeholders, combining operational agility with the structure of a larger international group.

The company is known for its technical expertise, long-term partnerships, and high-quality product portfolio within a niche B2B market.

• Manage full A-Z accounting for the Belgian legal entity
• Process general ledger entries, journals, accruals and provisions
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitor payment flows and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, Intrastat and statutory filings
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with Belgian GAAP and internal control standards
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes
• Act as internal point of contact for finance-related matters

Jouw profiel

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting standards and VAT
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and business partnering attitude
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with stakeholders
