We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team in Anderlecht.

Beschrijving van de functie

As an Accountant, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily accounting operations:

• Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate monitoring and control of general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Contribute to financial and cross-functional projects, supporting process improvements and compliance.
• Serve as the key contact for Belgian authorities, internal and external auditors, and implement their recommendations.
• Manage and monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Jouw profiel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in French, good knowledge of Dutch, and strong English skills (minimum B2).
• Solid understanding of taxation and VAT regulations.
