Are you an experienced IT professional passionate about the modern digital workplace? At Randstad Digital, we are looking for a Digital Workplace Lead Engineer to bridge the gap between technical innovation and operational excellence.
 
This is a Try & Hire position: you will start your journey via Randstad Digital with the clear intention of transitioning into a permanent contract with the end-client after a successful initial period. In this role, you will lead the transition from in-house services to a managed service model and optimize collaboration tools for a high-tech environment.

• Location: Hybrid (Brussels Region / Remote within Belgium)
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in Workplace Engineering or IT Infrastructure Management.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.

 
Your Tasks:

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital workplace solutions (AV, collaboration tools, and connectivity).
• Drive the transition from in-house services to a managed service model, ensuring seamless handover and operational excellence.
• Manage external suppliers and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and value is delivered consistently.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Maintain a structured way of working through documentation, process governance, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality user experience across all digital workplace services.

Your Profile:

• Proven track record in workplace engineering with deep expertise in Windows 10/11, MacOS, and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint).
• Expertise in endpoint management via tools such as Microsoft Intune or Workspace ONE.
• Experience with application packaging and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Knowledge of Mobile Application Management (Apple Store Connect & Google Play Store) and Group Policy Management (AD).
• Experience managing suppliers in a managed service environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.
