XR Learning Experience Designer (temporary assignment) M/V/X

We train the next generation of cleanroom operators through theory, hands-on practice, and immersive digital learning. To expand our XR roadmap, we're looking for a motivated professional to help create realistic, gamified, and AI-enhanced training experiences;  bringing creativity and analytical thinking, not Unity coding.

You will support the XR innovation by combining scriptwriting, gamified storytelling, interaction thinking, and voice-over design. You act as a bridge between experts, trainees, researchers, and XR builders. You will: 

• Follow real cleanroom training yourself to understand the workflows from the inside. 
• Translate technical procedures into clear, structured learning scripts that focus on the why, not just the steps. 
• Integrate gamification principles (progression, challenge, feedback, reward loops) to make training engaging and motivating. 
• Design "guidance levels" aligned with cognitive load research: 
   - Full guidance 
   - Delayed nudging 
   - Minimal guidance
• Help define where avatars, AI-assisted voice-overs and gaze-based triggers make learning more natural and intelligent.
• Gather insights through observations, interviews, photos, and videos and turn them into structured training scenarios.
• Design voice-overs that are clear, human, motivating and consistent with the training philosophy. This role blends technical communication, learning design, gamified thinking, and XR creativity in one of the world's most advanced semiconductor environments.

Jouw profiel

• Strong interest in XR/VR/AR and digital learning
• Affinity with technical writing, storytelling, gamification, or instructional design
• Curiosity to explore complex technical processes and make them understandable
• Strong communicator with the ability to interview experts & trainees
• Analytical mindset: able to structure flows, decisions, training logic
• Creative thinker: able to mix clarity, engagement, progression, and training goals
• Experience or interest in AI-driven content (avatars, LLM prompts, voice synthesis) is an extra plus
• English is the main working language; Dutch is an asset
