Consolidation Officer in a Listed Belgian Company - Brussels M/V/X

In the context of transformation in the energy sector and international growth, the company is strengthening its central finance team to support its consolidation and reporting activities at group level. The Consolidation Officer has a global view and global responsibilities over the whole business.

As Consolidation Officer, you directly report to the Manager and work in a team of 3. The consolidation team is stable and has great evolution perspective.

Therefore, keep in mind that the function is open to evolution and growth.

• Perform group consolidation for monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and IFRS standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and improvement of consolidation processes and tools.

Jouw profiel

As the function will be central and will also show great perspectives, the profile will have to show a certain set of hard and soft skills:

• Master's degree in Finance / Business Management / Economics - Or equivalent
• At least 2 or 3 years of financial experience (audit is a plus - consolidation experience is a real added value)
• IFRS knowledge / experience is a plus
• Fluent in English, good French and/or Dutch command (written and spoken)
• Proactive and Outgoing: being able to go out of your comfort zone, to take initiative
• Positive and result oriented

Mainly, the right candidate will have had to have at least a first financial experience, and will demonstrate a great ambition, the desire to learn and to evolve.
