This is your job You'll work in an agile environmentand develop new functionalities for our registration platforms. You'll ensure that existing functionalities and technologies stay fully up-to-date. You'll assist with the rollout of new releases and changes in production. You'll monitor systems, investigateproblems and solve them with your team. You'll continue to develop yourselfand share your knowledge with the team. Meet the registration team Are you a developer who likes to take ownership, help steer the direction and contribute to building critical platforms? Then you will feel at home here. Technically, you're in the right place. We work with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Oracle and Terraform in an AWS environment. We continuously invest in our CI/CD pipeline, automation and quality, so you can focus on building, improving and learning. The registration team currently consists of three full-stack developers, a product owner and a tester. Together, we develop and maintain the registration platforms for .be, .vlaanderen and .brussels domain names. These platforms are used every day to search for, register and manage domain names. Our teamwork is based on Sociocracy 3.0: no top-down decisions, but an environment in which every voice counts and in which you actively help shape technical, architectural and content-related choices. You are never alone. Together with 20 engineers spread across five self-managing engineering teams, we form a close-knit Technology unit. We consciously work across team boundaries: knowledge is shared, colleagues help out where necessary, and expertise circulates freely. This allows you to continue to grow, learn from others and help build solutions with impact. In short: autonomy, strong collaboration and room for personal growth, that's what working in our unit is all about.

Jouw profiel

About you You have at least 5 years' experiencein software development and thorough Java expertise. You have extensive experience in software design and can structure technical solutions independently. Knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot. Experience with SQL and relational databases. You speak fluent Dutch and English. Important for this role You're a team-player, willing to take the initiativeand suggest improvements. You have an eye for quality and securityand are able to plan your work independently. You have no problems working on multiple projects at the same time.
