OBJECTIF

Le/La Financial Officer assure une gestion financière efficace des projets, depuis la phase d'offre jusqu'à leur mise en œuvre, contribuant ainsi à la performance financière globale. La fonction porte sur un suivi financier rigoureux, les prévisions, le respect des obligations contractuelles et l'optimisation des marges des projets.

Le/La Financial Officer est sous la supervision de la Senior Financial Officer.

 

RESPONSABILITÉS

Gestion financière des projets

· Gérer les aspects financiers des propositions et des contrats

· Configurer et mettre à jour les projets dans le système comptable

· Suivre les résultats financiers et les prévisions des projets

· Soutenir les équipes projets dans la gestion financière

· Préparer les rapports financiers, factures et audits

Soutien à la finance corporate

· Contribuer aux clôtures financières périodiques et au calcul des marges

· Participer au suivi des relations bancaires et au processus de paiements

Soutien comptable

· Vérifier et corriger la comptabilité liée aux projets

· Fournir un soutien ponctuel à l'équipe financière selon les besoins

Project Financial Management 

• Manage financial aspects of project proposals and contracts 
• Set up and maintain projects in the accounting system 
• Monitor project financial performance and forecasts 
• Support project teams on financial management 
• Prepare financial reports, invoices, and audits 

 

Corporate Finance Support 

• Contribute to periodic financial closings and margin calculations 
• Support banking relations and payment processes 

 

Accounting Support 

• Review and correct project related general ledger accounts 
• Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed

Jouw profiel

Education & Experience 

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration 
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role 
• Strong experience in project financial management 
• Experience with international donor funded projects is an asset 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Proven communication skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team
• High level of autonomy and accountability 
• Ability to assess limits and seek support when required 
• Detail oriented, agile, and proactive 
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French is an asset 
• Excellent Excel skills 
• Experience with accounting software; Vena is an asset
