Beschrijving van de functie

Our customer, located in Heverlee, a big player in innovative technology is looking for a Application User Support Engineer (temporary assignment).

In this role, you will play a key part in guiding the migration to new operational software applications. Your focus will include system setup, compliance and verification, administration, master data management, and user acceptance testing. You will also support the broader organization in effectively using these applications.

Key responsibilities:
. Serve as the first point of contact for users of operational/manufacturing applications.
. Analyse and classify resolved issues to identify recurring or structural problems, working closely with the application development team.
. Review and validate approval requests according to established processes and workflows.
. Support and/or execute user acceptance testing and regression testing together with end-users.
. Manage master data for test scenarios and create master data for business objects, following approved workflows.

Jouw profiel

Required knowledge and skills:

•  Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to operate effectively in an international environment.
• Have a Bachelor degree
• ???? Strong (technical) communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business language.
•  Experience with issue-management and workflow systems is a strong advantage.
• Previous exposure to manufacturing systems is highly valued.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
